Award Winning Chili
"I got this recipe from a friend in New Jersey. She won awards in 5 chili contests with it. Enjoy!"

serves: 5 quarts
Ingredients:
2lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
2 onions
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 large can tomato paste
2 large cans red kidney beans
2 cans tomato sauce (12 oz)
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1/3 cup hot pepper sauce
2 teaspoon salt
20oz V8 Juice

2 beef bouillon cubes

1/3 cup hot pepper sauce

Directions:
In a large skillet brown beef, bacon, onions and garlic. Then place in crock pot. Pour in remaining ingredient, adding just enough V8 to fill crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
