Grandma's Cheesecake

Ingredients:
Crust:
40 Vanilla Wafers, finely rolled 1/4 cup white sugar
(about 1 3/4 cups) 1/4 cup butter, softened

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 pint whipping cream 1 scant cup powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Blend all crust ingredients.
  2. Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Press into an even layer against the bottom and sides of the dish.
  4. Bake 8 minutes at 375.
  5. Cool before filling.
  6. For filling, mix sugar and cheese.
  7. Whip cream until it form peaks, fold into cheese mixture.
  8. Spoon into cooled crust.
  9. Set refrigerator about about 20 minutes.
  10. Add fruit topping and serve.
