Grandma's Cheesecake

Ingredients:
Crust:
40 Vanilla Wafers, finely rolled 1/4 cup white sugar
(about 1 3/4 cups) 1/4 cup butter, softened
Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 pint whipping cream 1 scant cup powdered sugar
Directions:
- Blend all crust ingredients.
- Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie plate.
- Press into an even layer against the bottom and sides of the dish.
- Bake 8 minutes at 375.
- Cool before filling.
- For filling, mix sugar and cheese.
- Whip cream until it form peaks, fold into cheese mixture.
- Spoon into cooled crust.
- Set refrigerator about about 20 minutes.
- Add fruit topping and serve.
