Golden Rod Eggs
"An Easter breakfast tradition in the Bushman family."

submitted by: Mike Bushman
serves: 6-8

Ingredients:
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped

white sauce:
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 to 1 1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper

Directions:
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour while stirring. The mixture will form a sticky substance which you can stir into a sticky ball. (Add more butter if it's too dry, more flour if it's too runny) When the ball is formed, slowly add milk while stirring with a wire whisk. Stir constantly until it boils. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add eggs and mix well. Pour over buttered toast.
